Based off the successful Haikyuu!! Pop-Up Cafe in SF, we bring you a Haikyuu!! Cafe in NYC! Get served by your favorite characters, as they wait on you hand and foot! Fulfill your lifelong sports anime dreams, if you so wish. Even if that involves sitting in a trash can with your favorite character! (note: we cannot actually provide this)

Special thanks to Okashii Cosplay, who hosted the SF cafe, for their great help in advising our NYC cafe. Many aspects and designs of the cafe are modeled after theirs, so we thank them greatly.

Staff
Staff's (cosplay waiter/waitresses and artists) tickets are waived, however, we respectfully ask all applying staff to buy a ticket first, and it will be refunded or partially refunded by the cafe date. More information is in the application and also will be reiterated when contacting staff directly. If you have questions involving staff, please post here or PM the organizer of that link. If you are accepted staff, you may either get the ticket refunded, or pay-it-forward to a guest who wishes to attend the event but cannot pay due to circumstances. If you choose the pay-it-forward, we will refund you $5.

FAQ

What's with the weird times for buying a ticket?
These are in accordance with the schedule listed above! Please sign up for the slot that you will be able to attend the best, but please also have another slot free for a second choice. In the case there are people who can only go to a certain timeslot, we may have to rearrange people and their slots in order to get everyone in!

How will this event work?
Guests will arrive for the timeslot they sign up for. In that time slot, we will serve you drinks, food, and dessert. A butler or maid will sit with you for a rotation (3 rotations/hour), and they will play special activities with you, in which you can win prizes and bring home fanart. At the end, there will be a group activity for everyone in the cafe at that timeslot!

What is a block?
A block is the timeslot that guests will request to stay in. Food, drink, and activities will be served and performed in this time. There will also be a number of rotations of cast with tables so that each table can get their favorite character. We'll try to match people up to the best of our ability!

Do I need to purchase anything at the event?
No! Everything is included in your ticket fee, which goes into venue, food, and activity costs. If we do happen to make profit to this event, it will be donated to charity. HOWEVER, there is a chance that artists may be selling their work, and in addition to the fanart prizes that you can win, you are free to bring extra cash for that.

What are the food and drink options?
We are serving tea and coffee throughout the day. Guests will have a choice of the kind of food, dessert, and drink they would like from a menu we will provide. We're doing our best to try to have some Haikyuu!! themed foods! If you have any allergies, we ask you to contact us.

I can't afford this event! Is there any way I can still attend?
Yes! There is a pay-it-forward option available for everyone. One can buy extra ticket(s) and the extra tickets will be matched up with those who fill out a form to be put on a list. The giving/getting tickets form is here: http://goo.gl/forms/MzoSAeeomh
